The process and mission behind powerfulpicks

These 2 questions had been raised by some other persons as well. So I will answer in brief:

I am a member of Powerfulpicks and the journey has has been fantastic so for. Your target for a recommended stock has been conservative and it is achieved and beating it further in real quick time .  Excellent work!! Your mix of Technical and Fundemental Analysis is spot on..Some Questions:

1.Have you developed any mechnical trading system where you have applied your backtested rules for buy and sell signals from a TA perspective?

[MODERATOR]: I do not use any software. I select stocks based on performances during the last few trading sessions. I check their fundamentals; if the fundamental indicators like book value, last few years performance, future business and industry prospects, expansion plans/turnaround story looks attractive, I then go for the technical charts (short term and long term candle stick pattern, support, resistance, MACD etc). If the stock also passes the technical test, I think about recommending it to the group. Sometimes, I drop it though based on my instincts; even the charts can be deceptive at times. One can be assured that I will not recommend stocks flying high in the market, but the future growth story is missing. And this is the reason of my high success rate so far.

2. Why is that you do not recommened any sell recommendation ?

[MODERATOR]: Because this is an investment service and not a trading one. If it was, I would have recommended at least 5 good shorts today. The intended audience are not brokers and traders who sit before a trading console throughout the day, but small and medium budget investors, whose primary occupation is something else, not market trading.
