Techpro..

Averaging techniques vary. I usually follow the below process..

a. Till it falls by 10% from my entry price, I hold and just keep a watch.
b. I start averaging after it falls by 10%, buying in minute quantities, at 10%, 12% and 15% falls, if it is still falling.
c. Whenever the fall stops and the price bottoms out, I buy a larger amount and significantly lower my initially high purchase price. And if I see a large intra-day bounce back, I trade the same script and book some intraday profits.

Dear Sir,
As per below bought 25 shares of Techpro @ 403 . Now it has fallen to Rs.373 levels and the market sentiments are low. What should be the strategy. Wait for some more time or....make averages now?

Please reply.

Tecpro Systems went up like a rocket and died down, but 400 seems to be a short term base for it. I picked up a small amount at 400 and you can do the same. Pick up between 395-405 only, not out of this range. Short term target may be 460. No chart is available for it of course, so the target is based on my experience.

Cantabil did not do well on listing, because people are afraid of retail scripts, after the Koutons horror show, but Cantabil's down side seems to be limited. You can pick up minute quantities between 105-112. Target 140.

Can expect some action in Cantabil Retail and Tecpro Systems, which are listing today. This is not a buy call yet. Watch the price movement for now. I think Tecpro should do reasonably well
